"What is life?"

I definitely don't like this question. It sounds too philosophy.
"I'm a philosopher, what else do you expect me to ask?"
But I'm still an ordinary student, still a way far from answering that kind of question.
"What does an ordinary student answer then?"
I don't know, it depends on which field is the student in.
"How long do you think you need to answer my question?"
May be when I'm much older? Do you think that a lad can have a nice say about life?
"There's a man working hard under the blazing sun now. Are you trying to say that he can tell more about life when his life might be nothing but earning bread to live on everyday?"
Alright, you got me. For them, bread is surely more important than the quest of life.
"Which means life is about living, or rather surviving, to see the sunrise tomorrow?"
I bet you won't see that as an answer.
"Mind to share your thought then?"
Like I said, I'm too young. All I know is just follow the path ahead.
"Who gave you the path ahead to follow?"
Don't ask me, that's where others normally go. Life is some sort of formula, I guess.
"What do you mean by formula?"
Well, we are born, grow up, study, work, marry, then become an old folk, and finally die. It is set. It is a formula, a nature formula, and most of us apply it.
"So life is a formula that can't be changed?"
I don't want to admit it, but it seems to be a yes.
"Then why are there still so many asking about life?"
May be they are not satisfied? May be they need some answers for their unbalanced life? Or may be they are searching for something that make them different from others?
"So you are trying to say that searching for answers, is what defines life?"
Some said, life is about spending the every moment meaningfully. But please, don't ask me to define meaningful. It depends, too. And now who is the philosopher here? Isn't that I'm should be the one who hear but not speak?
"Everyone is looking for answers. Everyone is thinking about life. Everyone is philosopher."
Bearing that so-called his conclusion in mind, I looked over the street. I saw a colorful board with some writings on it.
